Housing
Welcome to the College of Santa Fe Housing and Residential Life page. Living on campus at CSF provides opportunities for getting involved in campus life, meeting people from around the world, challenging ideas and points of view, and fostering personal and professional development through wellness programming.
Considering whether to live on campus? Residential students routinely earn higher grades and are more likely to graduate than those living off campus. Avoid budgetary hassles with the convenience of one bill through the college, enjoy the proximity to classes, build leadership skills, and make life-long friendships on campus!
CSF Housing is comprised of four residence halls, three of which are undergoing renovations, and four campus apartment complexes. All campus housing will be open in August 2010.
A resident assistant (R.A.) is assigned to each floor/area. RA’s are student-staff members who are available to assist you with any questions about campus life. They are outstanding resources and also trained for crisis situations. A professional housing staff member is on call 24/7.
All students are permitted to have cars on campus. Santa Fe also maintains a bus system with a stop at the entrance of campus.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Housing and Residential Life Office at (505) 473-6373 or reslife@csf.edu. We look forward to hearing from you!
Resident Assistants
Each area of campus housing has a Resident Assistant (RA) available to help with college adjustment. Your RA can tell you about campus facilities and services, how to report maintenance issues, how to manage a roommate conflict, and how to get involved in campus extracurricular activities.
Residence Hall Furnishings
CSF residence hall rooms come furnished with beds, closets/wardrobes, dressers, desks, desk chairs, and a mirror. Mattresses are twin extra-long size (80" x 36"). Each residence hall room door has a lock, security chain and peephole.
CSF apartments are fully furnished with a loveseat, dining table, two dining chairs, coffee table, queen sized bed, desk, desk chair, nightstands, and a wardrobe. Apartment kitchens include full-size appliances but students provide their own pots, pans, dishes, glasses and utensils. All furniture provided is the property of College of Santa Fe and may not be removed from the room.
Local telephone service, basic cable TV, cable internet and laundry are free to all campus residents. However, students need to provide their own computer, TV and telephone.
